Canon Digital IXUS 750 Review
Excellently designed, the Canon Digital IXUS 750 with its perpetual curve and metal body is making a style statement whilst housing up-to-the-minute technology.
The 7.1 megapixels resolution results in the production of high quality, precise images which will keep their definition when printed to A3 (and above) size. The inclusion of the 3x optical zoom precision lens also ensures that the Canon IXUS 750 produces superb clarity whether shooting from close-up or a distance.
The advanced DIGIC II processor ensures a fast performance from the Canon IXUS 750 with the iSAPS technology optimising camera settings before the shot is taken. The Canon IXUS 750 also offers a range of 15 shooting modes to help with that perfect shot, 9 preset scene modes to help with lighting situations and My Colors which allows colour effects to be added to both images and movies.
Images and movies can be viewed on the 2.5" wide angled LCD and can be shared with others at the same time and brightness can be adjusted to suit lighting conditions. Depending upon memory capacity, extra long VGA movies can be taken at 30fps with audio or 60fps QVGA quality for fast action shots.
Printing is at the touch of a button when the IXUS 750 is connected to a PictBridge compatible printer and if connected to a Canon SELPHY CP Series printer, ID photos and movie stills can be produced. Images can also be quickly transferred to a PC using the USB 2.0 hi-speed connection.
If available, CANON iMAGE GATEWAY will provide 100 MB of web space so that you can share your photo album with family and friends.

Photografy is something essential in my liufe. I can't imagine wondering anywhewre without a camera. This is my third digital camera which I found to be the best among them all. It is handy, easy to use, and provides excellent quality of photos. I use it in reporting my work, as well as quick snap shots for my family. It proved excellent quality when I used it shooting some landscapes.l The only draw-back is flash shooting in very low light conditions, but if the objects have any sourt of illumination the pictures are a lot better. I use a digital SLR for some special portraits which- of course - supplies a totally different quality of photos but there is no way to compare regarding the price. I have the submarine case for the Ixus 750 which I used during diving and took some excellent shots of corals and lovely coloured subsea shots. The results were really amazing. Thius camera is simply a perfect handy tool to have anywhere and for any purpose.

This is the best digital camera I have had so far, easy to use and great results.
The colours are amazing and images are precise. There are also quite a number of special functions, some of which I have used, and they do really help when setting up particular scene shots. I am positive I have achieved far better pics by using these.
Would recommend this camera as a great point and shoot

I was beginning to enjoy using my new camera when sadly it broke. Unfortunately, it seems it may take a while to be repaired so at the moment I am not impressed with Canon.

This is my first digital camera and I bought this one because a friend of mine already had one and recommended it. She felt that, as an amateur, I would not have any trouble with this one. I have found it easy to use, convenient to carry around and it has given me the confidence that, yes, I can produce quality photos even without experience. The camera offers a lot of options, certainly enough to keep me busy for some time, and I can see my results on the large screen. At present, I am experimenting with movies and don't think it will take me long to produce some worthwhile videos.
