This model is replaced by the 860. An almost perfect compact camera easy to handle but use the white balance, short enough shutter lag. The 860 best compact camera I ever had!

A good compact camera with plenty of features. Very small. (?too small like a bar of soap). Chick look. Vibrant images especially when you use colour accent. However significant barrel distortion in wide angle mode. Battery level display absent; therefore cannot predict when it will run out. On closer inspection, images not that sharp. LCD not bright outdoors (tough can use the optical view finder - a rare but welcome addition). Image stabilisation good.
