Canon EOS 350D Review
Being a neat, light, sensitive digital camera With 8.0 Megapixel resolution and outstanding image quality, the EOS 350D is hard to beat. There are seven auto focus points spread throughout the frame giving you quick, precise focusing. If you want to follow moving objects such as animals or a sport apply the AI Servo AF or, alternatively, if you want to lock the focus before taking your picture apply the One Shot AF.
Because the Canon EOS 350D includes a start up time of 0.2 second, 3 fps and a 14 frame burst performance you will always be ready to take the next shot with the DIGIC II ensuring efficient image processing.
For direct printing or post processing, utilise the JPEG images, or for maximum choice, JPEG and RAW images write simultaneously. To have control after shooting RAW images, employ the EOS 350D Digital Photo Professional RAW processing software.
More than 60 Canon EF and EF-S lenses can be used with the EOS 350D; the EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM and EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM cover a stimulating range of focal lengths whereas the EF-S 60mm f/2.8mm Macro USM lens gives another insight into the world of nature.
The Canon EOS 350D provides a good range of lighting flexibility including the E-TTL II distance-linked flash which takes lens distance and ambient light into consideration to provide accurate flash metering. The EOS 350D is also compatible with the whole range of EX Speedlite flashes including the 580EX which contributes to better colour.
When connected to any PictBridge compatible printer instant prints can be made that have been automatically sized and aligned, the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface guarantees speedy uploads and direct printing. The EOS 350D will also take CF and CF-II cards even if over 2GB capacity.
Included within the EOS 350D package is membership of CANON iMAGE GATEWAY which will give you 100MB of online space for storing and sharing with friends and family.

Great camera, can be as easy to use as a point and shoot or has enough features to keep you busy.
i would recommend this camera to anyone wanting to get into digital slr's from compacts, despite what some other reviews say this is not a compact see what your taking camera, it requires a little more understanding and ability but repays that with stunning results!

The 350D is the most expensive camera I have bought so far but it was worth it. It is lightweight, compact and very user friendly.
This is a great camera for amateurs as it lets you use it manually, automatically or as a mixture of both and therefore gives such flexibility that, hopefully, I might create some masterpieces.
I have also found it very easy to link up to my pc and my tv and show off my achievements to my mates.

I have to say that, unfortunately, this camera was not the one for me. The 350D was quite expensive, image quality was below expectation and I found it annoying that I could not see what I was going to shoot prior to taking the picture.
Not my best buy.

I bought the 350D as a special present for my godmother who is developing a taste for photography. She has been extremely pleased with this camera as for her it is the all-round camera. She can operate it completely manually or enlist the aid of the many features which gives her plenty of scope for experimentation. As she is interested in bird life, the fact that the camera gives natural colours is a big plus. She may win a competition yet.

Very pleased with my new camera. The 350D is fast, has excellent picture quality, natural colours and is lightweight and compact. Because of the timing, I find that I am actually photographing exactly what I am seeing and not missing that perfect shot because of delay. I intend to read the manual carefully because I am sure that there is a lot to learn about this little camera.

There is more to the 350D than meets the eye. It has so many great features that it will take me quite a while to be fully conversant with this camera.
I am certainly pleased with its performance so far and have taken many good pictures that have sharp image and proper colours. At the moment I am still an amateur but I think this camera will teach me a lot and take me a stage further.
Long battery life is also a good feature as well the ease with which I can connect to my pc or tv.
