The Canon PowerShot A570 IS offers the photographer complete control, allowing you to express your own creativity.

The 7.1 megapixel sensor and 4x optical zoom produce results that are clear and detailed even when taken from a distance. The detail of the image gives flexibility in cropping and the production of larger prints.

The Canon PowerShot A570 IS has an optical image stabiliser(IS) and this technology compensates for camera shake when using slower shutter speeds or at full zoom. This feature also allows flash free shooting indoors and in low light conditions with High ISO Auto and ISO 1600 enabling faster shutter speeds to be used thus reducing blurring.

The Canon A570 IS is ideal for portraits as the Face Detection AF/AE/FE will automatically seek out faces within your shot and ensure that the optimum focus, flash and exposure settings are used. The Canon DIGIC III processor gives high speed performance and excellent colour with iSAPS optimising camera settings as relevant.

There are 19 shooting modes to choose from including; creative zone for manual control, special scenes such as night, kids & pets and indoor. The My Colors feature allows the application of colour effects in camera. Images can be viewed on the 2.5" bright LCD screen (with night display and Grid Line) together with full audio movies. The Canon PowerShot A570 IS can also be connected to a TV or PC for full screen playback.

The Canon A570 IS has a range of optional accessories which include a waterproof case which will allow underwater shooting up to 40 metres.
