The Casio Exilim Card EX-S500 has, within its all-metal, ultra thin body, a multitude of features combining to produce excellent quality photographs and high quality video.

These images can be shared with family and friends on your TV set by using the multi-function cradle supplied.

5.25 megapixels, 3x optical and 4x digital zoom (12x when combined) all contribute towards excellence together with Antishake DSP which uses high shutter speed and sensitivity to compensate for blurring from moving subjects or shaky hands. The Casio EX-S500 has a built in memory of 8.3MB and a card slot which can take SD / MMC. Images are stored as JPEG (Exif Ver 2.2), DCF, DPOF compliant and movies as AVI (MPEG-4) WAV. The Exilim Card EX-S500 has 2.2" digital TFT colour LCD for viewing and playback functions of slideshow, movie, image roulette, 9 image display, calendar and favourites folder. One image or all images can be deleted.

The Casio Exilim EX-S500 has focus modes of manual, contrast AF, auto macro, auto, infinity and pan and focus ranges of normal and macro. Recording modes are still, still with audio, movie with audio and BESTSHOT with its 33 preselected scenarios. ISO sensitivity has automatic or manual switching and equivalents of 50/100/200/400, White Balance is auto, manual and fixed (6 modes) with flash as auto, red-eye reduction, off and on.

A rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the Casio Exilim Card EX-S500 and has a continuous recording life of approximately 200 shots. continuous playback of approximately 160 minutes and continuous movie recording of 100 minutes. Without battery the Casio EX-S500 weighs approximately 115g and has dimensions of 90 x 59 x 16.1mm. Accessories include: wrist strap, CD-ROM, AV cable, USB cable and cradle.
