The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z10 is not only convenient to carry and easy to use, it also makes taking photographs an enjoyable experience. High quality pictures are achievable by both beginners and experienced photographers alike as the technology within the Exilim Zoom EX-Z10 can satisfy their different needs.

5 megapixels, 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom (12x in total) are built into the Casio EX-Z10 together with recording modes such as still image, still image with audio, movie with audio, macro and voice recording. AVI (Motion JPEG) movies can be shot to any length depending on the memory and battery life available. There is a card slot for SD/MMC.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z10 is powered by 2 AA batteries, alkaline are included but NiMH and lithium can also be used. An AC adaptor is also supplied. The camera is ready after 1.6 seconds, has a 0.01 second shutter release time lag and has high speed image playback of 100 images in 10 seconds.

Images can be viewed clearly on the 2" digital TFT colour LCD. There are various adjustable manual selections as well as a feature named BestShot which has a selection of 28 scenes where the appropriate settings have already been made relating to the particular scenario chosen as a subject.

The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z10 has various recording modes including; still image, still image with audio, movie with audio and voice recording and a flash choice of auto, flash on, flash off and red eye reduction. Macro, auto, manual, pan and infinity are amongst the choices of focus mode in the EX-Z10 with focus ranges of; manual from 6 cm, normal from 40cm and macro between 6 and 50cm.

White balance selections include; manual, auto and fixed (with 6 modes) and ISO still image sensitivity from 50 to 400, automatic or manual switching. When Anti-Shake (which eliminates blurring from shaky hand or moving subject) or High Sensitivity are in operation ISO is to the maxiumum of 800.

The Casio EX-Z10 playback functions offer; resizing and trimming, still image at 4x zoom, 9 image display, movie, calendar, rotate, reverse, favourites folder and copy.
