Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z70 Review
The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z70, with its aluminium body, is slim and stylish and delivers 7.2 megapixels for superb, highly detailed photographs. It is available in black or silver and, even though compact, it is packed with superior functions and still remains easy to operate.With a total of 12x zoom and intuitive controls, the Exilim Zoom EX-Z70 can be used both by beginners and those with more experience. It features Easy Mode which means that beginners can use a simple onscreen menu of selected modes which will ensure excellent results at the touch of a button.
In the Casio EX-Z70, white balance offers automatic mode, manual and a choice of six fixed modes and when anti shake or high sensitivity is chosen ISO is to 800. The Anti Shake DSP reduces photo blur either due to moving objects or shaky hands.
The Casio Exilim EX-Z70 will power up in approximately 1.4 seconds with flash off, has a 0.002 second shutter release lag time and with high speed image play back will scroll at 100 images per 10 seconds. Flash is built into the Exilim EX-Z70 and can be selected as auto, on, off, soft and red-eye reduction whilst rapid flash can produce 3 flash photos per second.
Recording modes with the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z70 include still image, still image with audio, Best Shot, macro, voice and movie with audio. Still images can also be printed from movies.
The Casio EX-Z70 is powered by a proprietary rechargeable lithium-ion battery which gives long battery life.

For anyone wanting a compact digital 'point-and-shoot' camera that is stylish and easy to use, the Casio EX-Z70 is for you. Not only does it look great, with its sharp, black lines and cutting-edge shape, it is very fast on start-up and its Best Shot facility is a great idea, perfect for those of us who like taking photos but don't want to be bothered with all the paraphanelia that goes with manual cameras. It takes great shots, too - disdtance and close-ip and has prompted a few envious looks from friends and family, too! Don't be put off by the fact that it's a Casio, either: there's a lot of snobbery surrounding makes of cameras, but this manufacturer knows what it is doing as I believe was the first to produce a digital camera. So there. Downsides? EX-7Z0 can be a touch difficult to hold if you are using it a lot and the battery length time could be better, but all in all it's a great buy.
