Fuji FinePix A345 Zoom Review
The Fuji FinePix A345 Zoom has 4.1 megapixels and is easy to use with its one-touch, fully automatic operation. It also has Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens and 3.6x digital zoom and, even though it is so easy to operate, it still offers an excellent level of photo power.
There are four exposure modes to choose from; portrait, landscape, night and sports plus automatic focus. White balance can be either automatic or manual, with the manual choices being shade, fine incandescent and various fluorescents.
Choice of sensitivity in the FinePix A345 Zoom is automatic with a range equivalent to ISO 64-400 depending upon shooting conditions. Flash is automatic but with flash modes including red-eye reduction.
Start-up time for the Fuji A345 is just under three seconds and it is powered by 2x AA alkaline batteries. Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, battery charger and an AC power adaptor are available as optional accessories.
Images can be viewed on the high quality 1.7" LCD monitor which gives clarity and detail and are stored on an xD-Picture Card.
Movies can be recorded at 15fps and are in AVI format with sound.
The FinePix A345 is PictBridge, DPOF and Exif Print 2.2 compatible.

Unfortunately, the flash doesn't seem to work so indoor pictures are dark. Before that I found it easy to use but could do with greater magnification.

Worked really well until shortly after the guarantee ran out, then the lens developed a tendency not to fully extend when turning the camera on. It's difficult to be sure whether the lens is quite fully extended, which means that half of my pictures are out of focus.

For the price, this camera is a great buy. I find it very easy to use, it produces a quality picture and has enough features to keep you interested. To get the best out of this camera I found it was worth taking time to go through all the features available at the beginning.

Not a complicated camera but a good workhorse producing good quality photos. It runs on AA batteries which are easy to come by and is not expensive.
I use this one for day to day photography.

I can pop this one in my handbag and perhaps one day I will capture that 'once in a lifetime' picture. As it is very easy to use, I made a good choice for myself and have now got some very passable photographs. I need something that doesn't take too much brain power to use and this answers my wish. It is very good value for money and I am amazed that I can also make videos with a camera this small. Would recommend to anyone just wishing to pick up a camera and take a picture.

This is my first digital camera, it is not too big and fits in my handbag really well. It is really easy to use and takes fab pictures and you can record for a little while as well which is good. I normally take loads of photos, half of which I dont want to keep, so I put them all on the computer and delete the ones I dont need. Really good camera.
