Fuji FinePix A350 Zoom Review

The Fuji FinePix A350 Zoom with its 5.2 megapixels, Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens and 4.1x digital zoom will produce quality results from the start. As this camera is easy to navigate with a one-touch, fully automatic operation, it is simple to use.

It takes less than three seconds for the FinePix A350 to start up and you are ready to start taking pictures. Focus is automatic and there are four exposure modes to choose from, landscape, portrait, night and sport. Shooting modes include; auto, manual, macro, pre-programmed scene position or movie.

Movies can be taken at 15 fps and are AVI format (Motion JPEG) plus mono sound

White balance is automatic but with choices under manual including; fine, shade, various fluorescents and incandescent. The Fuji FinePix A350 Zoom also has a sensitivity range of between ISO 64 to 400.

The flash modes include auto and red-eye reduction and images can be viewed clearly on the quality 1.7" LCD monitor which gives approimately 90% coverage.

Images are stored on an xD-Picture Card and the Fuji A350 uses 2 x AA alkaline batteries. Ni-MH rechargeable batteries or an AC power adaptor can be purchased as an optional accessories.

The FinePix A350 is PictBridge, DPOF and Exif Print 2.2 compatible for direct printing without a PC.

I hadn't used a digital camera before I had this one given to me for my birthday, I only had experience of film cameras before that. It has surprised me at how easy the camera is to use and that it is also not difficult to go through the manual - I usually open these with trepidation. I am enjoying becoming acquainted with the various options available and believe that this has been an excellent introduction to the digital world.

My parents have bought me this camera as they thought I was now old enough to take a more serious interest in photography.

It didn't take me long to find my way around the menus and I think its great that I can see my pictures on the screen on the camera so that I can decide what I want to keep.

Just got this camera as my wife has just had our first child, and with this camera you can put the photos on to the computer so we can keep all the photos of our baby bot. Really good camera!
