Fuji FinePix F10 Zoom - UK Digital Camera Review

Fuji FinePix F10 Zoom Review

The Fuji FinePix F10 Zoom has 6.3 megapixels, 3x Fujinon optical zoom lens and 6.2x digital zoom and this, together with the Super CCD HR, gives you the best opportunity for any occasion.

The Real Photo Processor and the wide sensitivity range equivalent to ISO 80 to 1600 ensures that the FinePix F10 Zoom will deliver great results even in low light conditions. Natural results are achievable without the use of a flash by the selection of the Natural Light mode and blurring is compensated for by utilising the anti-blur programme.

The Fuji F10 has fast response times. It can reach start-up in 1.3 seconds, has a shutter time lag of 0.01 seconds and a 1.1 second speed between frames - it is ready when you are.

There are five programmed exposure modes to choose from including sports, night, portrait and landscape. White balance can be automatic or chosen from the manual modes which include fine, shade, incandescent and fluorescents.

The colour modes in the Fuji FinePix F10 Zoom are black and white, chrome and standard.

The F10 auto focus has AF assist illuminator and images can be viewed on the generous 2.5" LCD monitor. Even when moving from light to dark or vice versa, the FinePix F10 compensates and gives the appropriate illumination.

The auto flash uses a flash control sensor and red-eye reduction can be selected.

Images are stored on an XD-Picture Card and the F10 runs on an NOP-120 battery or AC power adaptor. The FinePix F10 is also PictBridge compatible.

Optional accessories to the Fuji F10 include; Li-on NP-120 rechargeable batteries, BC-65 battery charger which has a charging time of approxiamately 3.75 hours and an underwater casing.

I wanted a small, point and shoot camera as a present for my fiancee as she was still using an old film camera.

This one fitted the bill to a tee. It was good value for money, slipped nicely into her handbag and has a great range of features for her to experiment with.

I was also surprised to find that it really does have a good battery life, it is still going strong after a great many pics.

Julie has been very pleased with her present.

This camera is very speedy and, so far, I have not missed a shot. Photos are of high quality, I don't quite understand how it achieves this but put it down to all the latest technology it contains, ISO etc. A great camera

I needed a camera that would take great pictures no matter what the lighting conditions were and that had a large LCD - the F10 seemed to fit my requirements.

In fact, it has exceeded my requirements.

This camera is conveniently small enough to carry around, takes great pictures even without flash, battery life is fantastic and, above all, it is still easy to use.

No complaints from me.

My brother uses this camera and recommended it to me. He has proved to be right and it is an ideal choice. It is small, has lots of features, takes high quality photos, doesn't take long to start up and has a big LCD. Battery life is good too. A best buy
