Fuji FinePix F11 Zoom Review
The Fuji Finepix F11 Zoom uses high quality Fujinon lens and the 6.3 megapixels on the Super CCD sensor are put to very good use to give a level of image quality that is impressive. This camera concentrates on low noise, colour and contrast in order to produce high quality images.
The Real Photo Processor in the Finepix F11 Zoom produces natural results without having to use the in built flash. However, should flash be required there are various modes to choose from such as; auto, red-eye reduction, forced and suppressed flash and the flash also has an effective range.
The Fuji Finepix F11 has a total zoom of 18.5, 3x optical and 6.2x digital, and a fast shutter lag of 0.01 seconds. It takes only 1.3 seconds to start up and has 1.1 seconds between frames for consecutive shots.
The generous 2.5" LCD monitor on the Finepix F11 adjusts itself to the light under which you are looking so that if you are in bright sunlight and change to darker conditions the illumination of the monitor will adjust itself in order that images can still be viewed clearly. The monitor also gives approximately 100% coverage.
The Finepix F11 Zoom runs on an NP-120 battery or an AC power adaptor (Li-ion rechargeable batteries being an optional accessory) with an impressive battery life of 500 shots per single charge.
Various shooting modes are included in the Finepix F11 including; normal, auto, night, sports, landscape, portrait. There is automatic or manual white balance with the manual having a range of choices such as shade and various fluorescents.
High picture quality is ensured with the ISO range of settings; auto/80/100/200/400/800/1600, even under low light conditions and the anti-blur programme controls blurring from camera shake or movement. There is also a natural light mode for when flash is not required or is not permitted.
The Fuji F11 Zoom is PictBridge compatible and optional accessories include: Li-ion rechargeable batteries NP-120 and battery charger with the charge time being 3.75 hours for the NP-120.
VGA movies with sound can be recorded at 30fps.

good solid compact useful features gives good results in right hands especially in macro shots but picture quality in auto point and shoot not sharply focused and loss of detail plus purple fringing around high contrast shots lets it down as with the f10 fuji should have solved this problem this time round

My criteria for my next camera was to find one that would allow me to exercise control over various functions. After reading up on the various options available, and taking advice, I decided to buy the F11. This model certainly lets me take control and with good results. I am also pleased that it has an extremely generous LCD as this helps greatly when deciding how the shot will look. Excellent results so far.

Progessed to the F11 as I became a more experienced photographer and I haven't regretted it. Excellent results have been achieved without having to use flash and the high range of ISO settings seems to ensure that my photos are of high quality every time. Battery life is also extremely good.
