The Fuji FinePix S5 Pro has 12.34 MP (6.17M high sensitivity S-pixels plus 6.17M R-pixels), high-performance viewfinder with 0.94x magnification and 95% coverage together with a 2.5" TFT LCD offering various playback options including Face Zoom In, cropping, slide show, multiframe and histogram.

The S5 Pro combines the Super CCD SR Pro with the RP (Real Photo) Processor Pro giving professional results.

There is a wide menu of dynamic ranges ensuring excellent image quality with optimum ranges being chosen for each scene. The unique film simulation mode allows changes to be made to match shooting conditions, F1/1a/1b/1c modes for natural skin tones and F2 mode for highly saturated, high contract images.

The Fuji S5 Pro features an 11-point AF system for high speed, high precision focusing, AF lock-on with predictive focus tracking and 3D colour matrix metering dealing with various lighting conditions.

Powered by rechargeable Li-ion battery NP150, the Fuji S5 Pro is able to produce approximately 400 images per charge with current battery life being displayed. The FinePix S5 Pro uses the storage media of Compact Flash Card Type I/Type II and IBM Microdrive, compression type is JPEG, RAW Image, Exif 2.2 DCF. The Fuji S5 Pro has a built-in pop-up flash with i-TTL flash control and functions of front/rear synchro, slow synchro, red-eye reduction and red-eye reduction + slow synchro. ISO sensitivity range offers 100/125/160/200/250/320/400/500/640/800/1000/1250/1600/2000/2500/3200 with the high ISO setting of 3200 reducing noise, White Balance modes include auto, fine, flash, shade, incandescent and fluorescent.

The dimensions of the Fuji FinePix S5 Pro are 5.79"W x 2.91"D x 4.45"H and approximate weight is 29.3oz excluding battery and memory card.
