With 6.1 megapixels and KODAK Color Science, the Kodak EasyShare V610 will give you exceptional quality prints with accurate colour and flesh tones. Even when cropped, images are still of great quality.

Although a small camera, the EasyShare V610 houses KODAK RETINA dual lens technology and 10x optical zoom and comes with two professional quality SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH C-VARIOGON LENSES to give greater clarity and precision.

Your photographs will be true to life using the Kodak EasyShare V610 due to its KODAK PERFECT TOUCH technology which enables you to print brighter pictures. It also has the ability to warn you of possible blurring, has on-camera cropping and will automatically remove any red-eye.

The high resolution 2.8" colour display has a wide viewing angle and will allow you to view your images the right way up because the EasyShare V610 has automatic picture rotation.

The EasyShare V610 offers twenty-two scene modes including; portrait, landscape, close up, snow, fireworks, beach, sport, children and candlelight. The widest shots can also be taken using the panorama stitch mode.

VGA audio video at 30fps can be taken, image stabilisation assists with a steady shot and zoom can be operated during filming.

Using bluetooth wireless technology it is possible to send pictures wirelessly, to a mobile phone for example.

The EasyShare V610 is within the KODAK EASYSHARE system so it is simple to share your pictures with others by pressing a button. Selected images can be tagged for sending later on.

KODAK EASYSHARE software is part of the EasyShare V610 package and offers a simple method of organisation, sharing and printing.

Included within the Kodak EasyShare V610 optional accessories are; the EASYSHARE Photo Frame Dock 2, Photo Printer 500, and Printer Dock Plus Series 3.

The Photo Frame Dock allows you to view your favourite images as a slide show, will transfer images to a computer and will recharge your battery.

The Photo Printer works without a computer, allows you to view and edit your images on a 3.5" display and will print your photgraphs.

The Printer Dock Plus also can be used without a computer, prints borderless photos, transfers images and will charge your battery.

I purchased my V610 as my previous Kodak broke while skiing. I was very impressed with this camera, I took some test shots of objects at wide angle and then 10x zoom. I couldn't believe the clarity on objects at full zoom, super fine detail. I was a little disappointed with the size and position of the flash for indoor photos. Unfortunately I no longer have the camera as it decided to cook its self when I charged it. I intend to purchase another one soon.

This was a bit of a disappointment.
The Zoom feature is great but the fact that the camera doesn't have an anti blur system for still shoots is very bad. You don't know until you have taken the photo if it will be blurred or not. A bit useless! The other disappointing feature is the Flash. It is useless indoors. The pictures come out very dark and pixelated. The only way to get great pictures with this camera is on a bright sunny day. The only really decent part of the camera is the video option. It is one of the best I have seen for a camera of this sort. Overall not a good camera.

Not had camera long but I am very pleased with it. I am just a point and shoot photographer so this camera is ideal. The stitch mode is perfect and the size is great for slipping in your pocket. Kodak recomend 1GB memory card capacity, has anybody tried using more?

At last, a camera that I can take panoramic shots with. Most of the holidays I take are to scenic locations rather than say city and I have always been frustrated that I cannot take wide enough pictures that do the landscape justice. It used to be the case of say putting three photos side by side (probably overlapping) to give some idea of the scene. I can't wait for my next trip which is to New Zealand.

I thought that this was a fairly expensive camera but you do get a lot for your money. At the moment, I am practising taking the panoramic shots but basically this camera is very easy to use. Once I have mastered it, the wide lens and stitch option should produce some enviable photographs. I have taken some quality stills and shot a movie and the quality of both is excellent. The large display is extremely helpful and makes selection easier.
