Nikon Coolpix S51 Review

The Nikon Coolpix S51 is ultra slim and has a stylish wave pattern on its aluminium body, it is available in dark silver or chocolate brown and is capable of taking exceptionally sharp shots.

The Expeed image processing engine and optical vibration reduction image stablisation system within the Nikon S51 ensure that sharp images and movies are achieved as the effects of camera shake are greatly lessened resulting in maximum image quality.

With 8.1 megapixels resolution these images stay sharp even after enlarging or cropping.

The Coolpix S51 has a right-angle 3x optical zoom Nikkor lens and 4x digital zoom, contributing towards the production of quality clear images. Images can be viewed on the bright 3" LCD monitor which has a 160 degree viewing angle and an anti-reflective coating and can be stored on the 13MB internal memory or on SD memory cards. There is a viewing option of having your images as a slideshow with music on the camera or shown on a TV screen, just choose the style and soundtrack.

ISO up to 1600 allows for faster shutter speed which assists in low light and with moving subjects. ISO range is 100/200/400/800/1600/auto. The Nikon Coolpix S51 is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery EN-EL8, which is supplied together with a battery charger, which has a battery life of approximately 150 shots.

Approximate dimensions are 3.6" x 2.3" x 0.8" and the Nikon S51 weighs approximately 4.4oz without battery and memory card.

excellent camera very easy to use with very clear images a very big improvement on my old coolpix 4600 its really good in low light due to its iso system it also has anti glare on the screen i paid 105 pound for it in tenerife after a lot of haggling
