I was looking for a camera that would be the most compatible with my Nikon accessories and lenses and I have found it in the D100. If you are an advanced amateur looking for a digital camera then this would be the one to choose. This camera will handle most situations, is easy to use and is priced well for a digital SLR. Would recommend this one, especially if you have Nikon accessories already.

I was new to digital photography and a colleague recommended that I try the D100. It was good advice, it is very versatile, easy to use and it is very hard not to take a good photograph. The D100 feels good to handle and has many useful features. Picture quality is excellent, even when blown-up it still shows all the details whether it be an indoor or outdoor shot. I would say that this was the best digital SLR I could have bought for the money.

The camera feels comfortable, was a good price but my images are not sharp. Perhaps I am doing something wrong but have decided not to keep this one.

After having a Nikon 35mm camera I thought it was time I entered the world of digital SLR so, after reading various articles, I decided to buy a Nikon D100. I have been using it for approximately a year now and have been impressed with its performance. It is ready instantly, good size and weight, user friendly, lots of features, produces excellent pictures shot both inside and outside and shows great detail.
