Olympus µ [mju:] 750 Review

The Olympus µ [mju:] 750 is housed in a comfortable, easy to hold, weatherproof metal body and is available in a choice of colours: Moonlight Silver, Twilight Blue and Sunset Red.

Excellent quality pictures are standard with the Olympus µ [mju:] 750 with its 7.1 megapixels, 5x optical and 5.6 digital zoom and the assistance of the 23 preset scene modes.

These scene modes are where appropriate selections have already been selected to suit particular situations and include; portrait, landscape, night, sports, sunset, candle, indoor, fireworks, beach & snow and 3x underwater modes. BrightCapture technology also allows pictures to be shot without the use of flash.

The µ [mju:] 750 has an internal memory of 17MB, records still images as JPEG, EXIf 2.2, PIM III, DPS, DPOF and movies as QuickTime Motion JPEG with sound up to card capacity. Movie formats are 640x480 at 15fps, 320x240 at 15fps and 160x120 at 15fps. Images can be viewed on the large 2.5" LCD monitor.

Still images on the Olympus [mju:] 750 can be viewed in various styles including; calendar, album, rotation and slide show with editing choices including; black & white, sepia, resizing, adding attachments and correcting brightness and saturation. Movies can be viewed frame by frame, on fast forward and reverse playback.

The Olympus µ [mju:] 750 sensitivity ranges are auto (automatically selected to suit conditions) and manual of 80/100/200/400/800/1600. White Balance offers sunlight, overcast, tungsten and fluorescent x2. The internal flash modes are auto, red-eye reduction, fill in and off.

The Focusing system in the Olympus µ [mju:] 750 is TTL iESP auto focus with contrast detection, spot/standard/macro/super macro modes.

I am so what of a begineer to digital cameras and changed from another Olympus, as i wanted more pixels ans smaller size camera.
The zoom lens is very good and the digital zoom makes it so powerful.
I used it in the rain and it was weather proof.
The only minus could be buttons a little small for big fingers.
