This is a great looking camera and so easy to carry around. My parents bought me this one because I had got to the stage where I needed a bit of a challenge and they thought that being fully manual I would need to use my imagination. The lens are great and I am enjoying using my LX1 - is there no end to my creativity! Seriously, this is a great camera to have, battery life is good, pictures are quality and as well as being manual it also offers scene modes.

I have been very pleased with this camera because it not only gives me the flexibility of selecting my own settings, it also has screen modes for when I am feeling lazy. It also has a good size LCD, excellent lens and you end up with quality photographs.
