Went in to buy a Nikon and ended up with this one instead.
I am a serious amateur and this camera fulfills my needs: it was a good price, lightweight, compatible with my other Pentax lenses, easy to use and gives excellent results.
Would recommend for anyone looking for a digital SLR

This camera is lightweight, feels good to hold and at the same time is of solid build. I paid a very good price for mine and have not been disappointed yet. I find it very easy to use as the menu is simple to understand and things just flow automatically. Have had some great results and appreciate that I can use AA batteries which are easy to get hold of.

I have been fortunate enough to be given my camera together with some old Pentax lenses and have been delighted to find how easy it is to use. The manual has not yet been referred to and I have taken some great quality photographs already. The review screen is excellent quality and I can see my images very clearly. I think this will be used for some time to come. Highly recommended
