The Pentax K10D has ISO speeds equivalent to 100/200/400/800/1600 and auto with a built-in retractable P-TTL flash system including flash on, auto flash, forced on and red-eye reduction. White Balance modes include auto, shade, cloudy, daylight, tungsten and light fluorescent.

A D-L150 rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the Pentax K10D which stores images on SD and SDHC memory card. File formats are JPEG, RAW, DCF, DPOF, PRINT Image Matching III and images can be viewed on the 2.5" TFT colour LCD monitor with brightness adjustment and wide angle view. Having used Pentax film SLRs for many years, together with a variety of Pentax lenses, I was loth to change brand. The K10D is compatible with all my AF lenses and the results are superb. However, one has to get used to the different ratios using film lenses with digital body. Also different flash ratios. It takes some experimenting and learning but well worth the effort.
