Samsung NV3 Review
Encased in a thin (l7.5mm) metal body, the Samsung NV3 is not only a digital camera but is also an MP3 player, digital camcorder and a multimedia player having stereo speakers producing realistic sound.
The Samsung NV3 has 7.l2 megapixel CCD, 3x optical and 5x digital zoom and this together with the Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) feature ensures that results are clear, bright with natural colouring.
The Wise Shot feature uses the built-in flash and the ASR to take the shot twice - once with flash and once with ASR - and stores the best picture of the two. Flash modes also include off, auto, red-eye reduction, fill-in and slow sync.
ISO equivalents are auto/100/200/400/800/80/1000 with auto adjusting sensitivity according to exposure conditions. The high sensitivity of ISO 1000 allows pictures to be taken in the dark without image blurring. White Balance offers auto, manual, daylight, cloudy and sunset.
The Samsung NV3 offers 11 scene modes where settings have been preset to suit certain situations and these include portrait, landscape, night, sunset, dawn, children, beach and snow, fireworks and text recognition.
The Samsung NV3 has a built in memory of 15MB and takes MMC and SD cards (JPEG, EXIF 2.2, DPOF 1.1). It is powered by a lithium battery which can be recharged by using a cradle or a 24pin USB/detachable cable. Images can be viewed on the large 2.5" LCD with Protected Position
Movies can be shot as MPEG-4 VGA (640 x 480 at 30fps) and TVD (720 x 480 at 20fps) and can be edited on camera, downloaded movies can be viewed through the multimedia player. When used as an MP3 player, music can be listened to either through the built in stereo speakers or via headphones with the Samsung NV3 multi-tasking ability allowing you to listen to music whilst also taking pictures.

I have just bought the NV3 camera and at the moment am figuring out how to charge it up. I've plugged it into the USB but have no visual to see if it's charging. Having unplugged from the USB I switch the camera on again only to see that it has not charged. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong please.

I find this camera exceptionlly good however i find and my parents too who have the same camera as me that when taking pictures when it comes to viewing them on the LCD Screen or onto the Desktop of pc we are seeing white marks in some of the pictures, we are not sure what they are or where they are coming from, but the only option i can think of is that it could be spots in the air landing on the lens, the lens hasnt been touched in anyway.
Or another option could be is moisture in the air. at then end of the day we are not sure where it is coming from and to mention it isnt me that has this problem but also my parents as well.
So if anyone else is having similiar problems out there i would be gratefull if soemone could let me know if you have same problem and how to stop it.
Thanks
